Your journey

to self-sufficiency

What do we offer single mothers in crisis?

Our mission is to empower single mothers and their children move from crisis to self-sufficiency. We are a two-year transitional housing program designed to help single mothers overcome the barriers in their lives. We focus on providing safety, stability, a supportive community, and opportunities to reach educational or vocational goals.

Each new family moves into a furnished apartment. Upon completion of the 2-year program, each graduate takes all the furnishings of the apartment with them to their new residence.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Applicants must be single, with no more than 2 children, under the age of 10, in your custody.
  2. Must be sober for at least 90 days. Havenwood conducts random drug tests and apartment checks.
  3. You will need reliable transportation.
  4. Are you willing to invest up to 2 years at Havenwood, applying yourself to the program to achieve your goals?

What Can you Expect?
